Naranjarte is a Spanish Puppet Theatre and Circus company founded by Ana Lorite and Sergio Aguilar in 2011. Known for their dynamic fusion of puppetry and circus, they embarked on a global tour from 2017 to 2020, performing over 200 shows across 14 countries. Their educational initiative, Puppets and Circus: A Trip Around the World’s Schools, brought immersive performances and cultural exchange to diverse audiences and communities.
Now based in Aotearoa New Zealand, Naranjarte also spends summers in Europe, where they enjoy the vibrant arts of their home culture and share their passions. Naranjarte continues to captivate audiences with productions that blend puppetry, juggling, and theatrical illusion, while exploring themes of transformation, imagination, thinking outside the box, and following one’s dreams.
